A Simple Chair Massage

Chair massage uses massage chairs to relax your back, shoulders, and neck. It is a lot like an introductory if you are new to massage therapy. It is a simple massage technique that can alleviate your stress and make you feel relaxed using light to medium pressure. Don’t forget that a quality massage chair plays a big role here.

Doing a Chair Massage

Unlike what you possibly thought, you will be fully clothed when you have a massage. You will sit on the massage chair, often in a straddling position. This way, your chest will be pushed into the back of the chair. This way, your masseuse can access your back and perform the hand motions that will help you to de-stress and relieve pain.

What is a Shiatsu?

Shiatsu is a massage technique that may be performed using a massage chair. It is also an excellent technique to help you feel relaxed, relieving pain, tension, and stress. This type of massage is good for alleviating headaches and reducing muscle tension. At the same time, it can help with depression and anxiety thanks to the physical calmness it provides.

How to do a Shiatsu?

It is a Japanese technique, also known as acupressure. It primarily uses the fingers, but can also use hands, elbows, knees, forearms, and feet. It is a lot similar to acupuncture where its diagnostic methods use the pulse, face, or tongue. It also uses meridians or energy channels and pressure points.

Swedish Massage

Another massage therapy technique that may use a massage chair is Swedish massage. It is a gentle full body massage technique that’s ideal if you haven’t tried massage therapy before. Massage Therapy Techniques with Massage Tables

Many different types of massage therapy use massage tables. Hot stone therapy, deep tissue therapy, reflexology, and even shiatsu, as well as Swedish massage, use these tables for a full-body therapy.
Of course, they each use varying techniques that make the most of the benefits that the table provides in terms of the client’s body mechanics and comfort.

Myofascial Release
