Though low blood pressure is dangerous many people perpetually have readings, which is normal for them. Low, normal, or high blood pressure levels depend on the various factors like lifestyle, health condition, age, gender, etc. This story provides some information on low blood pressure readings.
Blood pressure is the amount of pressure exerted by our blood on the arteries when the heart pumps. The number of times one's heart pumps blood in the body is called the blood pressure which is written in the mathematical form of a numerator and denominator.
The normal blood pressure reading being 120/80 is categorized as the systolic blood pressure upon diastolic blood pressure. The highest and lowest pressure exerted while carrying oxygenated blood is called the systolic and diastolic values, respectively.
Low blood pressure is medically termed as hypotension on contrary to high blood pressure which is called hypertension. Low blood pressure or high blood pressure, both are considered dangerous for heart health. However, there are many cases wherein people have constant low blood pressure if compared with the usual healthy blood pressure range.
People with low blood pressure often have fainting spells and complain of dizziness. In extreme cases, people might go into a shock, which medically means the condition wherein the body is not supplied with essential amounts of oxygen through the blood.
Blood pressure can be considered low, even if any one of the numerator or the denominator is lower than the specified normal range here. It means, it is not necessary for both the pressures, systolic or diastolic, to be on the lower side. One would find the detailed readings of a human heart in this table below.

It is important here to note that the blood pressure is something which keeps fluctuating not only on different days, but at different times of the day too.
For example, in the morning just after one wakes up, the readings will be in the resting heart rate range whereas at the peak time of the day, say at noon, when one is in the midst of some office work and one monitors their blood pressure, it will be much higher.
Treatment of low blood pressure is usually not required in cases of young people, but can become a necessity in cases of elderly persons.
However, following some tips like avoiding dehydration, standing up quickly, etc., will prove beneficial in avoiding the symptoms of low blood pressure, i.e. dizziness and fainting spells. Moreover, maintaining a healthy lifestyle will take one a long way in staying fit and energetic.
