If required, you may repeat this procedure several times during the day. This remedy can also be used for curing infection encountered by the wisdom tooth.

Hydrogen peroxide is known to reduce toothache. You can use hydrogen peroxide 1.5% as a mouth wash. This will clean, and disinfect the aching tooth and infected area near the tooth.

Another option is to gargle your mouth with tea tree oil. Mix tea tree oil with water, or grape fruit seed extract, and use it. This will heal the gum post the tooth extraction.
