How to Stay Hydrated Without Drinking Water

Everyone knows they need to drink water to stay hydrated but sometimes water is just boring or doesn't seem to be helping. What else can you do to stay hydrated besides drink water?

Keeping your body hydrated is very important. It helps keep you healthy and keeps your body functioning properly.

You know that water is a helpful fluid to help keep you hydrated. But is there anything else you can eat or drink that will help too?
One way to stay hydrated without drinking water is to eat fruits and vegetables that consist of a lot of water. These include things like:
- Watermelon
- Celery
- Cucumbers
- Strawberries
- Lettuce
These things consist of at least 90% of water and also have great vitamins and minerals packed in them!
Another way to stay hydrated without drinking water is to consume dairy. Many dairy products consist of a lot of water. Try drinking and eating things like:
- Non-fat milk
- Yogurt
- Cottage cheese
- Ricotta cheese
These things consist of 70% or more water and can help hydrate you.
If you are worried about staying hydrated there are foods and beverages you might want to avoid to. This includes:
- Soda
- Coffee
- Alcohol
- Salt
- Cured meats
These things can lead to dehydration, especially when consumed frequently.
Follow these tips and stay hydrated! While there are other sources to stay hydrated, we recommend drinking water daily!
