Our liver and kidneys are important organs which help to expel toxins from the body. Liver is a large organ which is on the right side of the belly. Liver's function is to filter out the blood coming from the digestive tract, before it passes through the rest of the body. Liver also helps in detox, by removing chemicals from the body. It also secretes bile which ends up back in the intestines.
Another important function of liver is make proteins for blood clotting and other functions. Kidneys are complex organs which are bean shaped and about the size of the fist. Everyday kidneys process blood and filter out waste products and extra water. Apart from removing waste products from the body, the kidneys also release important hormones.
These hormones stimulate the bone marrow to make red blood cells, they also regulate blood pressure, and help maintain the right electrolyte balance in the body.
These were the important functions of kidneys and liver. Liver and kidneys together form a powerful system which helps to get rid of toxins from the body. Now, imagine that your liver and kidneys are not functioning smoothly...
Consider all the health problems that will start surfacing... Yes, many problems like cancer, kidney stones, urinary tract infection, etc. can occur. Following a Healthy Diet

Eat a well-balanced diet. Eat lots of fresh organic produce fruits and vegetables. Eating raw fruits and raw vegetable salads will provide you with a lot of dietary fiber and many important natural nutrients like vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

Consume less carbs. Avoid sugary sodas and junk foods. Include foods which are good for liver like almonds, beets, blueberries, garlic, oats, salmon, soybeans and cruciferous vegetables to your diet. You should also include foods which keep kidneys healthy; like red bell peppers, onions, apples, oranges, grapes, sweet potatoes, eggs, olive oil, tuna, strawberries and cauliflower in your diet.

Exercising

It is important to maintain a healthy body mass index. Because, obesity increases the risk of kidney diseases. Excess weight can also prevent liver from functioning smoothly.
Hence, exercise is important to keep the liver and kidneys healthy. You don't have to do too much exercise, but an hour everyday for 4 times a week is good enough. You can take up any exercise routines for beginners. If you are overweight then consider a weight loss exercise program, that helps you maintain a healthy boss mass index again.

Detox

Perform a regular detox like a natural liver cleanse and kidney cleanse if your doctor allows you too. They can greatly help get rid of any blockage in your liver and kidney and thus prevent any future health problems. However, avoid doing detox one after the other day. After a detox, give a few weeks or months break, and then again you can do a detox.
