Definitions From Oxford
Gene: A unit of heredity which is transferred from parent to the offspring and is responsible to determine some characteristic features of the offspring.
Jeans: Heavy twilled cotton cloth, especially denim.
Many of us know of people who can eat whatever they want and still never put on weight. We also know those who increase exercises and control their calorie intakes, but don't seem to lose any weight.
What is the reason for this?
Often times, it's all about the genes!
So, how can your genes affect how your jeans would fit?
InBody states, "Genetics play an interesting role in body composition, especially when it comes to body fat. Your body is designed to store fat in certain places, depending on gender, age, and of course, your family genes."
What can you do if it seems like your genes have control over your weight?
Don't try too hard or take dangerous and extreme approaches. Stay consistent and steadily make good lifestyle changes.
